Ephesus

Istanbul

Turkey is filled with great attractions but none of them is as big as the capital of Turkey itself, Istanbul. Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and one of the largest in the entire world and used to be the capital of the Ottoman and the Byzantine Empire.

This city is located on a narrow strait that connects Asia and Europe together thereby making it the only place in the world to be located on two different continents. Istanbul has everything to offer to their tourists including magnificent sightseeing spots that include great architecture, and a lot of historic sites.

There are a great number of dining places filled with delicious food, numerous number of shopping malls, a buzzing nightlife and so on. Historic places like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace only add to the attractions that Istanbul has.
