Open a new Museum of Frida Kahlo in the Riviera Maya

With a personality and a work outstanding, the painter and poet Mexican already had with a Museum in his country home, in city of Mexico. From 2017 Frida Kahlo will be another Museum, in the Mayan Riviera, specifically in Playa del Carmen.

It will be in the first quarter of next year when the Museo Frida Kahlo Riviera Maya opens its doors in the town of Playa del Carmen, and will include original work of one of the best-known painters around the world.

They have already begun preparations to make architectural changes to the official Frida Kahlo, building the Museum, next to the restaurant in the center of Playa del Carmen. Also the Museum expected to open their galleries for artists who reinterpret the work of the painter.

With this we have one more reason to get closer to Playa del Carmen, which with its beaches, its architecture, its people, its animation, its gastronomy already captivated us on one occasion.
